getting close

Liz still doesn't like tummy time, but she has discovered that she can push herself up onto all fours. She isn't sure if she likes that either. But, I am certain that once she discovers crawling, she will like the freedom of being mobile

I am not ready for Liz to be mobile. Once she starts to crawl, I will have to keep track of her. Once she starts to crawl, I will have to pick up and keep the floors clean. And, once she starts to crawl, she will be able to chase her sister. It becomes a whole new game, once she starts to crawl.

Height: 36 1/2" - 45th percentile

Weight: 26lbs 9oz - 25th percentile

Blood pressure: 90/48

Pulse: 76 bpm

We celebrated cousin Analiese's birthday this weekend!
Happy Birthday, Analiese!

We then, of course, had to take some group shots of the cousins. Why do we try to do this? The result is always chaos!

For the grand finale, we decided to have all three girls ride the bike. The bike is actually a plant stand. Yes, we are crazy!

Liz's six month well baby check was last Friday. Here are her stats:

height: 26" - 52nd percentile

weight: 14lbs 2oz - 24th percentile

head: 16 7/8" - 73rd percentile

Now for comparision sake, here are Kate's stats from her six month appointment on 9/20/08:

height: 24 3/4" - 20th percentile

weight: 13lbs 8oz - 10th percentile

head: 16 3/4" - 55th percentile

six months

Liz is six months old today; half way to her first birthday.

Currently she loves her feet! She also loves to eat baby cereal, squash, and carrots. Maybe someday soon she will love sleeping all night!
