las vegas

I know this blog is supposed to be all about Kate and Liz, but I didn't think anyone would mind if I shared some pictures from the trip mommy and daddy took to Las Vegas.
***
We stayed at the MGM Grand, which was undergoing a face lift, so I couldn't get any pictures.  Across the street from the MGM is New York New York.

M&M world was one of my favorite places in Las Vegas!

The Eiffel Tower

The Bellagio

The Bellagio's conservatory decorated for Christmas.

The shops of the Venetian.  It looks like this is outside, but the entire shopping center is indoors.  The ceiling is painted to look like the sky.

One of the hotels on the strip houses the Auto Collection.  Michael tells me this car, named Eleanor, is very famous and worth a lot of money.

On the highway headed to Death Valley National Park.

We went to Death Valley National Park to see Scotty's Castle.  The castle was built by a millionaire in the 1920s.  The story of the castle and its technological advances for when and where it was built is quite impressive.

Back on the Strip.  The Stratosphere.

Statue of Liberty in front of New York New York.

Fremont Street canopy

We saw one show, Jerry Seinfeld.  He was hilarious!

To bad the syrup bottle was empty!

Our rental car.  After I took this picture, Michael did a donut.
